Images

God's Signs

I have some folders of religious images "collecting dust" in my computer, so I stuck them in a gallery where others may find them useful. Enjoy!
http://www.geocities.com/cjc_theacts/images.html
Btw, if you want to add images, audio files, webpages or sth to the Geocities acc, ask Clare or me for the password... Yahoo didn't allow our blog password =/
Instructions for Uploading Files in Geocities
Sign in at Geocities.com
Click File Manager in the menu on the right
Open File Manager
If you're uploading a picture to the Gallery, click the Images folder.
If not, proceed straight to Upload (button at top right corner)
Browse for the file(s)
Upload
Return to File Manager
Open the page you want to place the file(s) in for edition. (click the pencil icon between the check box and the file name)
Scroll down to the part of the page you want to put the file(s).

To insert a picture, this is the code
(when using, remove the spaces before and after <, > and /):
< img src="PICTUREURL" alt="PICTURETITLE" >

To link a page:
< a href="PAGEURL" >PAGE TITLE< / a >

If you're using a picture to link to a page, the code is:
< a href="PAGEURL" >< img src="PICTUREURL" alt="PICTURETITLE" border="0" >< / a >

Preview to check your progress & save your work often in case your computer dies while you're at work. That's what the Save and Continue button is for. ;)
Tips
1) Make very sure that the files you are uploading do not have the same names as any files already in the site, otherwise the files present in the site will be automatically overwritten by your files.
2) Bitmap images are large, hence they use up a lot of space and bandwidth [what's bandwidth/data transfer?]. So before uploading a Bitmap image, open it in Paint [< Start >< Programs >< Accessories >< Paint >] and re-save it as a JPEG image. Then upload the JPEG version.
3) Before uploading, make sure that there are no spaces or symbols like "." "," "!" in the filename. "-" and "_" are accepted. If not, the upload would be unsuccessful and Geocities will inform you that your filename is invalid. (yea, in bright red.)
4) Keep practising, it'll become second nature after some days.
5) You can always take the easier route and send me the file(s) for uploading. =p

Start uploading/sending!
